I am a seasoned Software Engineer with a decade of experience in software development, specializing in iOS development and proficient in Swift, Objective-C, and Python. I have a track record in building scalable applications, improving code architecture, implementing user-centered design, and remaining agile while maintaining the integrity of mission critical code. I have experience ranging from building apps from the ground up with few to no constraints to working on large scale applications serving tens of millions of users. I most recently worked at LinkedIn on the Notifications Experience team, where I work with diverse set of talented individuals to build and improve features to deliver value for many of our 1+ billion users.

What I’m working on
These days I’m building Hermes, two apps for talking with someone who doesn’t speak your language.
Hermes Translate
An iPhone app I built so two people can talk across a language barrier, with the translation running right on their phones.
Hermes Link
The same idea for front desks and counters: a way for staff to chat with the people in front of them, each in their own language.
I also keep a couple of open-source Swift libraries: PeerConnectivity, for networking between nearby devices, and LangTools.swift, for working with LLMs.
